SEVA™ is an educational practical method of assisting both you & your horse in recognizing any forgotten patterns of movement that were previously accessible, but have been lost due to stress or injury.
The SEVA™ Method uses a combination of modalities, including Equine Hanna Somatics® developed by Eleanor Criswell Hanna as an adaptation of Hanna Somatics®.
Horses as well as humans, over time, develop chronically contracted muscles This results in unconscious patterns of holding in the musculature. By re-educating the nervous system, We are asking the horse to sense this unconscious holding pattern and release it.
A horse that is no longer in stress has a stronger immune system and can go into “rest and digest” mode, resulting in a state of well-being.

What People say about SEVA Method for Equines
“Kissing Spine” is Only Temporary
Gloria worked with my horse Saylor and really made a difference for me. I thought it was just old age and something we’d have to deal with, but I found out that wasn’t the case at all.
Relief of Mental and Muscular Tension
I observed Gloria with the horses in a workshop and was amazed by how her work caused the horses to relax, and to feel safe and comfortable. I also noticed a great deal of release of mental and muscular tension in the horses. I would recommend her method to all horse people and their horses. It is a great rapport and trust builder between horse and human.
